This orange and yellow pillow is designed with an Adinkra symbol from West Africa. Generally, the circular symbol translates to mean our Creator who is the source, protector, and most powerful above all. When present in the home it is meant to bring in that essence. The back of the pillow is durable unbleached cotton and it is closed with an invisible zipper.

The mud cloth is made from handwoven strips of cotton imported from Mali in Africa. Made one at a time from a process originated by village women centuries ago, it is a labor-intensive technique that uses tannin and clay to shape it and tell stories and history with symbols.
