The golden arrows hand painted on a background of authentic white mud cloth are part of a more elaborate pattern symbolizing bravery. The top portion is made of soft reclaimed lambskin and it is finished at the bottom with long fringe.

Mud cloth is made from handwoven strips of cotton imported from Mali in Africa. Made one at a time from a process originated by village women centuries ago which uses tannin and clay to shape it and convey stories and history with symbols.
