In an array of throw pillows, the lumbar pillow is usually the first one seen due to its narrow yet dominant size.
This orange and white narrow or lumbar pillow is designed with an Andinkra symbol from West Africa. Generally, the arrow symbol translates to mean a green bountiful harvest for nourishment and good health. When present in the home it is meant to bring in that essence. The back of the pillow is durable unbleached cotton and it is closed with an invisible zipper.

The mud cloth is made from handwoven strips of cotton imported from Mali in Africa. Made one at a time from a process originated by village women centuries ago, it is a labor-intensive technique that uses tannin and clay to shape it and tell stories and history with symbols.
